Norfolk has many beaches for you to unwind and relax on. Whether it’s fossil hunting on the north Norfolk coast or building sandcastles and having ice cream at Great Yarmouth, there are miles of coastline to explore.

During the winter months, the beaches of Horsey, Waxham and Winterton are populated by breeding seals. In the summer, you can take boat trips from the seafront at Great Yarmouth to see them basking on Scroby Sand.

For those interested in maritime, along the coast, you will find Happisburgh Lighthouse, the oldest working light in East Anglia and the only independently run lighthouse in Great Britain.

The Norfolk Broads
